Chabad Cheers Up the Troops in Nachal Oz
This week, IDF soldiers at the Nachal Oz army base bordering the Gaza Strip received an injection of spirituality when Chabad volunteers and a group of supporters from the United States visited them with gifts of Chumashim, Siddurim, and other seforim for the base’s shul.

In the Presence of a Walking Miracle…
Yesterday I spent a very emotional day visiting wounded Israeli soldiers in the hospitals. There are about 40 soldiers still hospitalized, the rest have BH been sent home. New Campaign to Strenghthen Israel

Today we went to an army base in the area of Beit El. The reason for our visit was to dedicate a new Sefer Torah. We accompanied a young couple – still newlyweds – named Israel and Gabriela Kopel. On their wedding day they began writing a Sefer Torah which they decided to dedicate to the defenders of Israel. Chabad of Israel Visits The Wounded.
Soroka hospital in Beer Sheva and in Tel Hashomer have received there first (and hopefully last) wave of injured Israeli soldiers today. Tzerei Chabad of Israel has sent Rabbi Menachem Kutner, Rabbi Zalmen Gorelik and Rabbi Levi Gopin to visit the soldiers and bring words of comfort. ''The Chabad Shluchim all over the world pray for your recovery and success in your brave mission" said Rabbi Kutner to the wounded. '' Words are not enough to express our thanks for your dedication and commitment to protect the Jewish People and our holy Land," Rabbi Kutner continued.
